COVID-19 Resources & Updates

Information from Head of School, Stephen Manella, on August 24, 2021

Even though the Governor’s Executive Order has been rescinded, we will keep our mask requirement in all three divisions along with all of our previously announced protocols because the risk of changing this policy will inevitably lead to many quarantined classrooms.

Safe at Sayre

Our foremost priority is the health and safety of our community, and we are committed to following - and in some instances implementing policies - surpassing State guidelines and recommendations.

Some of the Safe at Sayre initiatives include:

  • Monitoring building ventilation to maximize airflow and clean air circulation along with enhanced cleaning and sanitation
  • Plexiglass dividers in areas where students work face to face and in the buttery
  • Nursing staff on campus during the school day

Sayre Cares & Shares

Sayre School core values of wisdom, integrity, respect, and compassion are woven throughout the school and community. We want to support as many friends, families, sponsors, and donors as possible during this time (and in the future).  Check out the list of community businesses as a resource for our parents, faculty and staff, alumni, and friends of Sayre. If you would like to be added to the list contact the Advancement Office at
