Two Sayre School alumni have produced a new film that premieres this month in Lexington.

The production company of Story Tepper '19 produced the romantic comedy “Where the Heart Lands,” which was filmed in Kentucky. His parents, Lucy Wood Tepper '87 and Danny Tepper, served as executive producers for the project. A red-carpet event will be held at The Kentucky Theatre on Friday, April 10.

The film’s plot follows a horse trainer in Lexington whose life is impacted when a lawyer from Los Angeles inherits the racing stable she manages. Locals attempt to prevent the sale of the horses to maintain their standing at Keeneland, a preeminent Thoroughbred racing facility in Lexington, Kentucky.

Story is a creator, producer, wildlife photographer, and marketer. He studied communication and media studies at the University of Kentucky. A fun fact: he played a small role in “She Dances” starring alumna Audrey Zahn. His character tries to pick up Audrey's character at a bar.
