Calling all Sayre School alumni! It's time to get your school spirit on and reconnect with old friends and classmates at the annual Alumni Weekend, happening October 3-5, 2024.
We've got a jam-packed schedule planned, filled with fun activities, delicious food, and the chance to reminisce about your Sayre days. Here's a sneak peek at what's in store:
Thursday, October 3
- Thomas A. Grunwald Golf Scramble: Dust off your clubs and join fellow alumni for a friendly competition at the Houston Oaks Golf Course in Paris. Lunch is included, so come hungry (and ready to win!). Check-in starts at 11:45 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Friday, October 4
- Keeneland Tailgate: Kick off homecoming weekend with a festive tailgate party before the big game. Mingle with classmates, enjoy delicious food and cocktails by DaRae and Friends Catering, and soak up the pre-game atmosphere on The Hill at Keeneland. The tailgate runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 pm.
- Alumni Night at the SAC (Homecoming): Show your Spartan pride and cheer on the Sayre football team as they take on Bourbon County. Enjoy a cookout before the game at 6:30 p.m., followed by kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Let's hear those fight songs!
Saturday, October 5
- Breakfast & Campus Tours: Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast spread at the Thomas A. Grunwald Buttery. Afterwards, take a stroll down memory lane with a guided tour of the Sayre campus and see what’s changed. Breakfast is served from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Alumni Reunion Party: The grand finale of Alumni Weekend! Join us for an evening of food, fun, and catching up with old friends. Mingle over cocktails in the courtyard and Old Sayre Parlours, followed by a delicious dinner and live music by the Lindsay Olive Trio in the Thomas A. Grunwald Buttery. The party starts with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m.
