A Moment for the Medical Club

By far one of the most inspiring clubs at Sayre, the Medical Club meets monthly and aims to empower the next generation of medical professionals. The club seeks to give members first-hand experience through experiments and interactive seminars with a wide range of professionals, including radiologists, biomedical engineers, psychiatrists, and internal medicine specialists. This year, the medical club has discussed trauma X-rays, learned about preventing drug overdoses, and even examined a human brain. 

Club president, Fiona Lee ‘25, reflects on how the club has worked to inspire “STEM-minded people within the Sayre community through various lectures and hands-on experiments”. Lee was grateful for her time as the club's leader, knowing that she and other club leaders were able to make an impact on fellow Sayre students! Currently, multiple members of the Class of 2025 are participating in internships with medical professionals, and even more plan to study medicine in the fall.
