Court's In Session, Sayre 4th Graders
Posted 05/18/2012 10:03AM

Court's In Session is a program designed to explore the judicial branch of Kentucky's government. Fourth graders learn about so many facets of our state during the school year. As part of studying the three branches of state government, they focus on the criminal justice system, and how a case works its way through our courts. Children become the prosecutors, defense attorneys, defendants, witnesses and also serve as members of the jury. This year, we had two not guilty verdicts.
