For several years now, Sayre students have been treated to
performances and classroom workshops with regionally and nationally famous
Bluegrass and Old-Time Musicians. These programs explore and celebrate our
Kentucky heritage, while also exposing our student musicians to new instruments
and different styles of playing. In early March, the world famous Foghorn Trio
visited the Upper School, and spent the lunch hour in the atrium for a jam
session with students and teachers. Video
