Français V: Cours de conversation

The French V discussion course is designed to improve speaking skills; pronunciation, oral comprehension, acquisition of vocabulary, and conversational practice.

 This course is taught exclusively is French and students are expected to use the target language in class.

 Students explore cultural attitudes and behaviors while improving their skills and learning about and discussing socio-cultural issues that distinguish the French view of the world from that of Americans.

 Our materials include French websites, television programs, radio, films, and newspaper articles.

 Although students will focus on expressing themselves better orally they will continue their work on reading and writing by providing research papers that complement their point of view in our discussions.
