Their teacher, photographer for University of Kentucky Athletics, will help them to learn the principles of photography, what makes a good picture, and the types of creative elements that go into making pictures. With their own digital cameras, they will have an instant way to look at the pictures they are taking and critique them as a class. We will take “photo field trips,” going as a group on walking tours to take pictures of the beauty we encounter.
