Basketball Gymnasium and Baseball Field: From Lexington travel north on I-75 to the Georgetown exit #125. Turn left onto US 460 which leads into East Main. Continue on Main Street to the courthouse. Turn right onto US 25 (first right past the courthouse). Follow US 25 for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left (flashing yellow light) onto Cardinal Drive. You will pass the middle school and the high school will appear next on the left.
The baseball field is located across Cardinal Drive from the front of the middle school.
To go to the gymnasium, proceed further on Cardinal Drive, slightly past the first entrance to the high school, and then take the next entrance on the left and travel around to behind the high school where you will find parking and the entrance to the gym.
Alternate Route, avoiding downtown Georgetown:
Basketball Gymnasium and Baseball Field: From Lexington travel north on I-75 to Georgetown exit #126. At the end of the exit ramp turn left. At the first traffic light turn right onto Highway 32/62 (Darby Lane), then at the stop sign turn right, and then at the next stop sign turn right onto Champion Way. Travel about 2-3 miles, passing Royal Springs Middle School on your right, then through a traffic signal, and turn left onto Cardinal Drive—you will see a park with red-roofed buildings where you turn left onto Cardinal Drive. Go straight at the 3-way stop sign and to get to the gym turn right into the first entrance for Scott County High School, travelling around to the rear of the building where there is parking and the entrance to the gym. To get to the baseball field, from the 3-way stop go straight, passing the High School and turn right into the adjacent Middle school parking lot—the baseball field is directly across Cardinal Drive.
Softball Field: Take I-75 North to the Georgetown/Cynthiana Exit 126. Turn left off the exit ramp and go .5 mile. Turn right at the KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and then at the end of this short road turn right again onto Champion Way. Stay on Champion Way and after about 3 miles you will see 2 brand new schools, Royal Springs Middle and Ann Mason Elementary. At the intersection turn left and follow this road to the first right into the park. Stay to the right around 2 businesses and you will come to the parking lot for the field. The field is easy to see, but hard to get to.
Soccer Field: From Lexington, go north out Georgetown Rd (Rt. 25). Shortly after you enter the Georgetown city limits, you will pass a McDonalds and the Georgetown Cemetery on the right (about 9 mi. from New Circle.) Turn right at the next street, Clay Avenue, which loops around the front of the Georgetown Middle School. Showalter Field is behind the school. Allow about 35 min driving time.
