Homework Clinic

This fee-based four-day-a-week program in the Lower and Middle School is designed to help students with organization and study skills as well as assist with specific homework assignments, and to monitor students as they complete their tasks. This intensive program is guided by Sayre faculty. Further, students are taught how to set priorities and how to budget time for long-range assignments. Although Homework Clinic is not intended as a substitute for special tutoring, it can be used as an adjunct to that type of one-on-one instruction.

Hours of Operation

The program is open to Sayre students in grades four through eight and is divided into two sessions: a Middle School clinic and a Lower School clinic. Homework Clinic is available Mondays through Thursdays. The Lower School hours are from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Due to early dismissal, hours on Tuesdays are from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Fee Schedule

The fee for each homework session is $30, and students are encouraged to attend at least two sessions per week. This enables homework clinic teachers to monitor progress effectively and provide consistent help for planning assignments.
